Senior Art Director

Description Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, the Senior Art Director will help to enhance and elevate the creative aesthetic, tone and soul of the Arhaus brand - to broaden the customer base as well as continue to engage loyal customers. The successful candidate and his/her team will bring this creative vision to life and translate it with a consistent, compelling, and on-brand approach to all customer touchpoints including catalog, videos, website, online communication (i.e., social media, e-mail marketing, etc.), and in-store signage. He/she will collaborate actively across all channels to ensure all creative is on brand, on budget and on time. The team currently includes four designers and two copywriters who support the catalog, digital and print as well as a photography team including a producer, photographer and 4 re-touchers. There will be needs to add additional talent across the creative capabilities. Of particular importance to the organization is how the creative is translated across all consumer touchpoints including in-store, digital and catalog. Specific attention to creative that will build Arhaus' social following will have high visibility. HE/SHE MUST HAVE: o An excellent taste level and the ability to bring creative concepts to life. o Broad range of creative experience with a strong understanding of color theory, photography and print, digital and video production. o Strong knowledge of digital file formats, typography, layout, color and graphic design skills. o Track record of building, developing and inspiring productive teams. o Confident, comfortable communicator and collaborator with very strong written and verbal communication skills. o An ability to manage deadlines, production workflow, timelines and schedules. o Track record of achieving consistency of messaging and building brands. o Proven record in instances where facilitation, collaboration and positively challenging the status quo were critical to success. o Relevant and results-driven marketing experience. o Lifestyle photo art direction experience. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES o Partner with the Chief Creative Officer on design direction and leadership for all direct marketing efforts o Develop and design the aesthetics, visual design and/or layout to enhance product image o Collaborate with project teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects o Must have experience in directing home fashion photo shoots o Maintain stewardship of the company's look, tone and feel o Partner with Chief Creative Director to develop a range of ideas and designs that ensure art direction and visual presentation support strategic concepts o Prepare art materials, from presentation through photo studio handoff o Focus on new creative for product launches and customer lifecycle campaigns o Partner with copywriters to develop ideas that follow the creative brief and are on-strategy o Partner with internal client team to resolve issues o Work with color house on photo retouching and color correction o Maintain file management using consistent naming conventions and procedures o May provide direction to photographers and stylists on photo and video shoots o May be required to manage multiple projects and/or mentor less experienced peers o May also manage external sources relating to design SENIO01792
