Copywriting Director

Description Reporting to either the Senior Art Director or Chief Creative Officer, the Copywriting Director will be a seasoned professional writer who has strong retail writing experience and is able to bring the Arhaus brand voice to life across all marketing channels. This individual will manage an existing copywriter as well as other freelance writers that we leverage periodically throughout the year. RESPONSIBILITIES Conceptualize and translate written content across all off- and online channels ensuring client voice remains relevant and consistent through catalogs, style guides, direct mail, website, e-mail, social and other assets.  Direct and write copy for a range of purposes from technical product copy to romanced Arhaus copy/storytelling.    Manage internal process with marketing and product development teams to collect and write customer-facing product content. Drive timelines and content development with creative team for new product launches. Serve as funnel and liaison between channels to prioritize and execute updates to multi-channel sales collateral. Lead and execute video marketing strategy and budget for all customer-facing videos, including web, in-store and social channels.  Partner with director of training to develop educational videos and sales tools based on business pain points. Contributes written content to other key areas of business including recruiting, real estate team and other occasional special projects that require a clear, consistent voice.  Key areas of content/copywritingcontribution will include: Catalog Copy/General Editor Seasonal Campaigns Direct Mail Email Digital Ads Arhaus.com (including SEO content) Print ads In-Store Signage/Tagging Materials Promotional Guides Call Scripts Video Scripts (customer-facing & internal-facing) Training Documents General communications  REQUIREMENTS 10+ years related experience as well as direct management experience  Must have a strong portfolio of retail work (ideally track record in home furnishings) Maintain an executive presence In order to be successful in this position, the best fit candidate must have the following traits: Agile: must be able to change direction and keep up with fast-paced deadlines.  Organized: must serve as anchor to drive process amongst a highly visual, conceptual team.  Detail-oriented: proofreading and a keen eye for design are necessary to ensure all marketing collateral is grammatically accurate and pixel-perfect.  Collaborative: understands, respects and works closely with creative team to articulate and execute messaging. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
